Terms of Service
Terms and conditions for using the GYAN platform

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the GYAN (Global Youth Alliance for Nepal) platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Account Registration
When registering for an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Accounts are subject to admin approval. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other community members
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or system resources
- Upload malicious code, spam, or harmful content
- Impersonate another person or organization
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (blog posts, proposals, profile information). By submitting content to GYAN, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content on the platform. We reserve the right to review, moderate, and remove content that violates these terms.
5. Community Directory
Active members may be listed in the public community directory. Your profile information (name, location, profession) may be visible to other members. You can control your profile visibility through your dashboard settings.
6. Donations
Donations made through the platform are processed via PayPal. All donations are voluntary and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. GYAN is a non-profit initiative and donations are used to support our programs and operations.
7. Limitation of Liability
GYAN provides this platform on an “as is” basis. We make no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GYAN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
